What’s New at Super Meeting 2026?
Every year, Super Meeting brings Nexstar members together to learn from industry experts, connect with one another, and return home with fresh ideas. This year, we’re raising the bar even higher with new experiences designed to help attendees leave with something even more valuable: real plans for their businesses.
Built around the theme Design What’s Next, Super Meeting 2026 is introducing several new features shaped by member feedback and focused on practical outcomes.
One of the biggest changes is a renewed emphasis on hands-on learning through New Design Labs and Redesigned Breakout Sessions. The goal of these 90-minute, action-oriented sessions: to equip attendees with tangible plans, solutions, and strategies they can immediately apply to their businesses to reach the next stage of growth.
- Design Labs are heads down and hands on. Members will work alongside other owners and GMs to craft solutions to their specific business challenges, whether that’s an AI action plan or a list of moves that improve your customer experience.
- Breakout Sessions go deeper on the expertise. They will be led by a Nexstar trainer and coach who walk participants through what’s working right now while outlining steps toward building a better business. Each attendee will leave with a deliverable in hand.
Financial learning is also getting a fresh approach. Rather than offering a one-size-fits-all session, attendees can choose workshops led by mainstage speakers that align with their business needs and growth goals, creating a more personalized experience.
Connection remains the heart of Super Meeting, and several new opportunities are making it easier than ever to meet fellow members.
The week officially kicks off with the Welcome Reception at Knibbe Ranch, where attendees can step into an evening designed for friendship, celebration, and a little Texas flair. This year’s reception features several sponsored experiences that bring an extra level of energy to the evening. Attendees can cheer on a live rodeo featuring bull riding, barrel racing, and trick-riding performances, enjoy live music from the award-winning Jody Jenkins Band, and gather under the stars for a dazzling fireworks show that will cap off the night. Along the way, they’ll find Strategic Partner-sponsored opportunities for photos with longhorns, custom hat-making, armadillo races, and plenty of unexpected moments that will make Super Meeting memorable long after the event ends.
Connect By Design, formerly known as 90-to-Connect, returns with its fast-paced networking format that has long been a member favorite. New to the schedule is Walk to Connect, a casual morning gathering that combines fresh air, conversation, and community.
Super Meeting 2026 will also feature live podcasting and videocast recordings. Andrew Brown, host of The Lost Art of the Skilled Trades podcast, will interview Nexstar members and share their stories with listeners across the industry. And at the Strategic Partner Tradeshow, attendees can watch live interviews with partners and industry leaders.
The Strategic Partner Tradeshow itself is getting a refresh, with a new layout designed to encourage more conversation and engagement. In addition to exploring solutions from leading Strategic Partners, attendees can participate in a new truck-wrap contest showcasing creative fleet branding from across the membership. They can also test their skills on a mechanical bull, create a Build-A-Bear to take home or donate, pick up a commemorative T-shirt, and enter raffles for cash prizes and free Super Meeting 2027 registrations. Strategic Partner breakout sessions and live stage programming will create even more opportunities to learn, ask questions, and discover ideas that can help move businesses forward. Rather than simply walking booth to booth, attendees will find multiple ways to engage, participate, and connect throughout the afternoon.
For many members, the value of Super Meeting goes far beyond the event itself.
“It was my first Super Meeting. I enjoyed it quite a bit. I learned so much,” shared one member guest following the 2025 event in Denver. “The selection of speakers was perfect. I was skeptical of their relevance to our industry going into this. I was pleasantly surprised because I learned so much from every person.”
~ Brady Jolly, owner and CEO of Jolly Heating, Air, Plumbing & Electric, agrees.
“This will be my eighth Super Meeting, and it’s my favorite Nexstar event of the year. The content is one thing, it’s always spectacular and great. But even better is the people. It’s all the people at Nexstar you talk with on the phone and Zoom calls; it’s all the members you hear about that are doing awesome things, all in the same room. It’s really where some of the best actions that I’ve made in my career – and where a lot of the ideas of the things we do in our business – are generated.”
From hands-on workshops and meaningful networking to memorable experiences in the Texas Hill Country, Super Meeting 2026 is designed to help attendees return home with new connections, practical ideas, and a clearer vision for what comes next.
